About the Parts Installation Service
“I have parts shipped from back home.” “I got a screen for a phone not sold in Japan.” “I just need someone to put in the SSD I bought on Amazon.”
This service is installation only. We install the parts you bring. We do not repair. We do not warrant operation.
Even if a regular repair shop said “we don’t have parts for that model” — as long as you bring the part, we will install it.

- Can you just install my phone screen? Is labor-only service available?
- Yes. If you bring your own screen part, we will install it for a labor fee only. Part costs are not included. However, issues after installation such as no display, vertical lines, or unresponsive touch caused by part quality are not covered under any warranty.
- Can you install parts I ordered from overseas, or parts for a phone brand not sold in Japan?
- Yes. We accept parts shipped from your home country and parts for local brands from Southeast Asia, China, the Middle East that are not available in Japan. Third-party, used, and overseas parts all accepted. Please verify compatibility before visiting.
- Can you install PC parts I bought myself — SSD, RAM, or a cooling fan?
- Yes. Bring your own SSD, RAM, cooling fan, or other PC parts and we will install them. Desktop and laptop both accepted. Labor fee only — parts are not supplied by us.
- Is there a shop near Shinsaibashi or Amerika-mura Osaka that does bring-your-own-parts installation?
- Yes. Smart Doctor Pro Shinsaibashi is in Amerika-mura, about 5 minutes walk from Shinsaibashi Station Exit 7 (Osaka Metro). No reservation needed — walk-ins welcome. Please bring both your device and parts.
- How much is the labor fee for battery or screen installation with my own parts?
- 3 tiers based on difficulty. Tier1 (e.g. battery swap): ¥7,700. Tier2 (e.g. screen install): ¥12,980. Tier3 (complex jobs): ¥24,800. All tax included, labor only. Tier is confirmed after inspecting your device and parts in store.
- I started disassembling my phone but got stuck. Can you just finish the installation?
- Yes. Bring the device already partially disassembled and we can handle the remaining assembly and installation. We check the condition first and let you know if we can proceed and what the fee will be.
- If the device doesn’t work after installation, can I get a refund? Why is prepayment required?
- No refunds. We cannot control the quality or compatibility of parts you bring. Even if the device does not work, the work is complete. That is why full prepayment is required after you agree to the quote, before work begins. Please understand this before visiting.
- Do you install parts for Android phones — screen, camera module, charging port?
- Yes. We install parts for both iPhone and Android. Screens (LCD / OLED), camera modules, charging ports, batteries — if you bring the part, we will install it regardless of brand or model.
※ This service constitutes disassembly and assembly work performed on the customer’s own property. It is entirely separate from the official repair services provided by Smart Doctor Pro under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications registered repair business system and ISO9001 quality standards.
